SUPER SWIMMING!

We have been going swimming at the Lido every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. It has been awesome. We get to have 30 minutes instructional swimming time with the Lido instructors and then we get 30 minutes free time!We are very lucky to be going thanks to Water Safety New Zealand.

WONDRFUL WINTER WONDERLAND!

WELCOME TO OUR WONDERFUL WINTER WONDERLAND! We have loved having the snow (even though we didn't have any heating in our classroom yesterday and it was warmer outside!!) Here are some pics of us have a play at school. We will be publishing some of our awesome recount stories about what we got up to on Monday afternoon when it first started snowing.

Measuring in metres

Today we practised estimating how long a metre is.  Jessie was the closest and he won a jumbo jelly bean - ka pai Jess!  Some of us were way off!  Here are a few photos of us measuring items in our classroom to see what is one metre long.
