The Argentinian Visit!

P
M
I
·           They signed our flags and t-shirts
·           We got to meet them
·           We had our photo taken
·           We got free flags and autograph cards
·           We presented them with a gift
·           They gave our school 2 signed rugby shirts
·           We will be on tv because ESPN tv was here filming it
·           We had a lot of fun
·           They taught us how to say hello and goodbye in Spanish
·           They stayed at our school until first lunch
·           We got to welcome them – powhiri

·      They couldn’t stay very long in each classroom
·      They made lots of changes and we didn’t get any Subway
·      We didn’t get to play any rugby with them
·      They came too earlier, it would have been better having them at lunch time

·      We got to meet some of the team members and were a lucky school to do so
·      They spoke a different language
·      They were very tall and made Mrs A look very short!
·      They asked us how to say goodbye in Maori and then they used it in every classroom
·      It was exciting when they came into the hall and when the boys did the haka
